Terms of service

1. Who we are
Ring Decision ("Ring Decision," "we," "us") is operated by TIARA JEWELS LLC, a Florida limited liability company. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ringdecision.com and any service or product you buy from us (together, the "Services"). By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from us. We accept orders from customers worldwide. You are responsible for making sure that using our Services is lawful where you live.

3. Our services
Ring Verdict. You upload 1 to 3 engagement ring quotes, and a GIA Graduate Gemologist reviews them and sends you a written verdict as a PDF. The verdict explains what each quote includes, compares the quotes spec for spec, recommends which option is the better buy based on the information provided, and lists questions to ask before you sign.
Ring Verdict 1-on-1. Includes a full Ring Verdict plus two (2) consecutive weeks of direct access to your gemologist by WhatsApp and email, with guidance and accompaniment through your purchase process. The two weeks begin on the start date we agree with you after your order.
Digital guides. Downloadable PDF guides, such as the Ring Visit Handbook, are provided for your personal use.
Founding clients program. From time to time we may offer free Ring Verdicts to selected applicants in exchange for honest feedback. Selection is at our discretion. If you post a review after receiving a free service, you agree to disclose that you received it for free.

4. Delivery times
Ring Verdicts are delivered within 48 hours of our receiving your complete quotes. Quotes are complete when we can see, at a minimum, the price and the main specifications of the ring. If we need more information from you, we will ask by email, and the 48 hours start once we receive it. What happens if we miss this time frame is described in our Refund Policy.

5. The nature of our advice
Our verdicts and guidance are an independent, expert opinion based only on the documents and information you provide. Please keep in mind that:
- We do not physically inspect any ring or stone. A Ring Verdict is not an appraisal, a grading report, or a certification of any item.
- We do not set, guarantee or negotiate prices on your behalf, and we do not guarantee that you will save money or obtain any particular price or result.
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of information supplied by jewelers or third parties, or for the products, services or conduct of any jeweler.
- The final purchase decision is always yours.
We do not sell rings, we have no affiliation with the jewelers whose quotes we review, and we receive no commissions or referral fees from any jeweler.

6. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information, and you confirm that you have the right to share any document you upload with us. Our recommendations depend on the quality of the information we receive.

7. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are charged at checkout through our payment providers. If you pay in another currency, your bank or card issuer may apply exchange rates or fees, which are your responsibility, as are any taxes or duties that apply where you live. We may change prices at any time; the price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.

8. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

9. Your files and personal data
The quotes and files you upload remain available in your dashboard for one (1) year from upload, after which we may delete them. We use your information only to provide the Services and as described in our Privacy Policy. We never share your quotes with any jeweler.

10. Intellectual property
Your verdict and our guides are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share your verdict with your partner, family or the jeweler involved in your purchase, but you may not resell, publish or redistribute it, or our guides, without our written permission. All website content, names and logos belong to TIARA JEWELS LLC or its licensors.

11. Reviews and feedback
If you send us feedback or post a review, you allow us to use, reproduce and display it, including your first name or initials, in connection with the Services. Reviews must be honest and reflect your own experience.

12. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services, including by uploading unlawful or malicious content, impersonating anyone, interfering with the website's security, or scraping or copying its content by automated means.

13. Third-party services
We use third parties to run the Services, including Shopify (store and checkout), file upload providers and WhatsApp. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. Ring Decision is powered by Shopify, but all sales are made directly with Ring Decision. Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of sales between you and Ring Decision, and you release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Ring Decision.

14. Disclaimer of warranties
Except as expressly stated in these Terms or our Refund Policy, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TIARA JEWELS LLC and its members, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss related to a purchase you make from a third party, including a jeweler. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service that gave rise to the claim.

16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TIARA JEWELS LLC from third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

18. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on this page, with its "Last updated" date, applies to orders placed after that date. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the policies referenced above, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
